Tax Professional - 2+ Years Paid Tax Experience Required
Join Intuit as a Tax Professional. This role focuses on providing tax preparation and advisory services for TurboTax clients in seasonal TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work on‑site and virtually, helping customers navigate tax filings, life events, and complex scenarios while building community relationships.
What You’ll Do
Provide tax expertise: give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (personal & business income, deductions, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning advice.
Be a proactive community ambassador: serve as the local face of TurboTax, engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long‑term clients. Organize local events to create engagement opportunities.
Educate and communicate confidently: represent TurboTax in the community, host learning events, participate in local marketing, and demystify taxes for clients.
Build relationships: connect with clients, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns, and establish long‑term trust.
Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience: interact with customers in‑person and via Intuit’s video tools, addressing inquiries and helping them overcome tax‑related challenges.

Who You Are
Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
Familiarity with Circular 230.
Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Associate, creating accessible tax‑related content for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Compensation Competitive base pay range varies by region: Bay Area California $23.70‑$28.00; Southern California $23.70‑$28.00; Colorado $22.60‑$26.70; Hawaii $23.70‑$28.00; Illinois $22.60‑$26.70; Maryland $22.60‑$26.70; Massachusetts $23.70‑$28.00; Minnesota $20.20‑$23.90; New Jersey $23.70‑$28.00; New York $23.70‑$28.00; Ohio $20.20‑$23.90; Vermont $22.60‑$26.70; Washington $23.70‑$28.00; Washington DC $22.60‑$26.70.
