Hospice: 7on / 7off, on call nurse (LPN or RN)
An opening for a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 7‑on/7‑off care with on‑call coverage. Three days ago, we announced the position and are looking for compassionate, talented, experienced nurses eager to join our team.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 5 PM – 8 AM
Friday – Monday: 5 PM – 8 AM (continuous)
Job Summary:
The 7on/7off hospice nurse supports patient needs in evenings, weekdays, and weekends. The nurse plans and directs services to meet the needs of individuals and families within homes and communities after normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal, physical, emotional, and social care to patient‑family units.
Evaluate and respond to patient’s/caregiver’s needs via telephone, home visits, and/or facility visits for assessment, symptom management, treatment, teaching, and care coordination.
Qualifications:
Active Nursing License in Oklahoma.
Active CPR certification.
2–5 years of experience in healthcare, hospice, palliative care, or training in end‑of‑life care.
Knowledge of hospice care and interdisciplinary services.
Strong organizational, verbal, written, analytical skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
