We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both administrative and clinical functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multitasking, communication, and providing compassionate patient service. Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties Answer multi-line phones, screen and route calls, and take messages for staff and physicians Schedule and modify appointments for new and returning patients Coordinate consultations with other clinics and specialists as needed Greet patients and visitors, manage the waiting area, and communicate any delays Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance data Determine need for patient signatures and document appropriately Identify and process required authorizations based on payer type Inform patients about payment expectations and collect co-pays Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with documentation standards File and retrieve chart documents; manage scheduling reports Prepare charts for appointments Clinical Duties

Prepare and maintain exam room supplies and equipment Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas Escort patients to exam rooms; measure and record vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly Report symptoms, concerns, or changes to clinical personnel Document all clinical information and patient interactions accurately Assist physicians during procedures and exams Administer medications and perform injections under appropriate supervision Collect lab specimens and ensure proper processing per protocol Process prescription refill requests according to established procedures Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures Ability to handle patient information confidentially and accurately Proficient with office equipment and scheduling/reporting tools Certifications (if any)

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
