Responsibilities

Material phasing: organize material by specific areas/floors and keep track of material inventories.

Tools & equipment: identify all tools and equipment required to support each crew, maintain sign‑in/out sheets, and conduct daily inspections.

Information packages: ensure each crew activity includes contract drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, etc.

Break management: keep control of breaks (personal, smoking, conversation).

Daily hour/unit reports: submit hours/units daily for each employee on the foreman’s established sheet.

Quality control inspections: perform inspections following the established QC plan and checklists.

Professional installation: ensure work is completed in a professional manner and at high quality.

As‑built drawings: update and log as‑built drawings onto the master record at least once a week.

Inventory: inventory all tools & equipment at the end of the day and submit inventory/inspection sheets every Monday.

Lost/Stolen/Damage tool report: report tools that are lost, stolen, or damaged.

AHA’s: review, sign, and store all AHA’s related to the foreman’s scope of work in the field gang box.

Equipment inspection: submit daily inspection sheets for all equipment assigned to the foreman once a week.

Accident/incident reporting & investigation: follow procedures and submit all reports within 24 hours.

Clean‑up: ensure all work areas are left broom‑swept at the end of the day.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in the electrical industry with a high school degree or GED.

4+ years of experience with an associate degree.

Abilities

Lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, following proper lifting techniques.

Relocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.

Work at heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, ladders.

Perform routine repetitive tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.

Possess good vision, hearing, and the ability to communicate in English.

Use a standard ladder without exceeding weight limits while carrying tools.

Identify potential problems and recognize when something is wrong without solving it.

Apply general rules to specific problems to produce meaningful answers.

Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

See detail at close range (within a few feet) and listen comprehensively to spoken information.
