Job Summary
USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy is seeking a motivated RN PACU to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms and perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Urology. The RN will be available Monday‑Friday, with early mornings and late evenings as needed. The RN reports to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services. Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care using the nursing process, medical plan of care, and organizational policies. Deliver safe, effective, and family‑centered perioperative care to all patient populations. Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to manage patient flow from admission to discharge. Maintain aseptic technique and apply surgical protocols. Qualifications
Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 1–3 years of experience in PACU or ICU preferred. Prior experience in an ambulatory surgical center highly preferred. Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification required. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Seniority Level
