Position Overview
Our client is a hospital seeking a full‑time or part‑time Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice in Vero Beach, Florida. This respected, community‑focused clinic is known for its compassionate approach to veterinary care and strong client relationships.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The position offers flexibility for either full‑time or part‑time scheduling, with no after‑hours requirements, supporting a true work‑life balance.
Role Description & Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will perform all duties associated with a general practice veterinarian, including surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventive care. The role encourages professional growth and welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to contribute to a compassionate and client‑centered environment.
Practice Details This full‑service general practice hospital operates within a modern, well‑equipped facility offering advanced diagnostics and an on‑site laboratory. The clinic maintains a strong emphasis on preventive care, client education, and delivering gold‑standard medicine. Team The team includes three experienced DVMs and nine skilled support staff members, including two dedicated surgery technicians and several veterinary assistants. With a strong technician‑to‑doctor ratio and an exceptionally low turnover rate, the practice fosters a positive, stable, and mentoring‑focused work environment.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
