Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in West Los Angeles seeking a Medical Director. This exciting leadership opportunity is for a veterinarian passionate about high-quality medicine and building a collaborative practice culture. The hospital provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs, including wellness exams, preventive services, dentistry, surgery, and urgent daytime care. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and closed on Sundays. The Medical Director role is full-time and requires a consistent presence to oversee both clinical and operational aspects of the hospital. Role Description And Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will lead the veterinary team in delivering exceptional patient care and client service. Your responsibilities include mentoring veterinarians, supporting professional development of staff, ensuring medical protocols are upheld to the highest standard, and overseeing hospital operations while fostering a positive, collaborative culture. Clinical duties encompass wellness and preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, geriatric care, and daytime emergency cases. Team
The practice currently has one veterinarian supported by a dedicated veterinary team. The Medical Director will play a key role in expanding and mentoring the team while driving the growth and success of the hospital. Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so Package
