Escalation Engineer Overview Responsible for investigating and resolving incoming issues across the organization, recommending server configuration changes, educating staff, creating innovative tools, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve issues from diverse company sources in a timely manner.

Evaluate and recommend server configuration changes to address issues and improve performance.

Educate company staff to promote growth and learning.

Assist in designing and implementing innovative tools and processes for the team and the business.

Coordinate assignments with other team members, communicating progress and challenges.

Participate in department‑wide and project‑wide meetings.

Provide input, solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standard requirements, and other applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

BS or BE in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3–5 years of experience working with a software development team, sustaining and maintaining existing products, with a proven track record of delivering successful results.

Strong technical foundation including: Windows Server environments (2012, 2016), IIS configuration and debugging, LAN/WAN networking, DNS, network switches, and load balancers.

Experience deploying hardware and software in an enterprise environment.

Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, C#/.NET, and C++.

Proficiency with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.

Experience with Windows virtualization and networking.

Excellent time‑management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Inquisitive, creative, and highly analytical with strong troubleshooting abilities.

Resourceful, thorough, and driven with a strong sense of urgency.

Experience Level Intermediate

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year. HR will provide the benefits package during the interview process.

Workplace Type Hybrid location in Morrisville, NC.
