We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Site Supervisor to lead one of our CCTR (California Center-Based Child Care and Development Program) locations in California. This role is critical in maintaining the operational, regulatory, and instructional quality of the program while ensuring compliance with Title 5, Title 22, and CDE CCTR funding requirements. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, regulatory expertise, and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality early learning.
Key Responsibilities :
Program and Instructional Leadership
Oversee the daily operations of a CCTR-funded early learning center, ensuring alignment with program regulations and Learning Jungle’s educational philosophy.
Lead the implementation of the Creative Curriculum in all classrooms, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and reflect California Early Learning Foundations.
Support teachers with lesson planning, assessment implementation (e.g., DRDP), and classroom environment development in accordance with Title 5 Quality Standards.
Coordinate the completion of child observations, developmental screenings, and assessments, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
Staff Supervision and Development
Supervise and mentor teaching staff, including Associate Teachers and Aides, ensuring compliance with staff qualification requirements under Title 5.
Conduct regular classroom observations, provide feedback, and support ongoing professional development.
Assist with staffing schedules, substitute coordination, and maintaining required adult-child ratios at all times.
Licensing and Compliance Oversight
Ensure full compliance with Title 22 Community Care Licensing Regulations, Title 5 CDE requirements, and CCTR contract expectations.
Maintain all center records, including licensing documentation, injury / incident reports, enrollment files, and staff training records.
Prepare for and lead site visits, audits, and assessments from licensing agencies and CDE monitors.
Family and Community Engagement
Serve as the main point of contact for families, supporting effective communication, parent-teacher conferences, and culturally responsive practices.
Promote family engagement in the classroom and through school‑wide events and parent advisory opportunities.
Ensure families are informed of their rights, program expectations, and available resources.
Administrative Responsibilities
Monitor enrollment and eligibility documentation in accordance with CCTR contract requirements, in partnership with agency administration or subsidy coordinators.
Submit reports, DRDP data, attendance, and other documentation to central office or funding agencies as needed.
Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and welcoming facility that promotes health, safety, and well‑being for children and staff.
Qualifications :
Must possess a valid California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (or higher) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
A minimum of 24 ECE units, 16 General Education units, and 6 units in administration / supervision, plus supervised field experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed early childhood education program, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
Strong understanding of CDE’s Desired Results System (DRDP), Title 5 and Title 22 regulations, and California Early Learning Foundations
Experience working with CCTR or CSPP state‑funded programs highly preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Must pass all required California background checks, health screenings, and TB testing
Current CPR / First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required
