$7,172.00 - $8,910.00 (minimum salary for new state candidates). Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II in the Office of Plan Monitoring (OPM), Division of Provider Networks (DPN), you will: Directly supervise analytical staff performing project activities related to timely access reporting compliance (TAR Compliance Program). Plan and organize work, ensuring standard and consistency, set and monitor goals and priorities. Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide coaching. Communicate with upper management and legal staff regarding provider data reviews, policy issues and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications are defined in the Classification Specification (STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I). Relevant baccalaureate degree and experience in health care service plan programs, provider networks, or related fields. Project management or supervisory experience. Analytical experience in researching and analyzing complex issues with clear, actionable findings. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access (tables, graphs, queries). Strong written and oral communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Managed Healthcare experience. Knowledge of health care service plan programs and trends, and provider networks. Experience leading projects and teams. High initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality. Ability to multi?task, organize priorities, adapt to changing demands, and work under pressure. Strong analytical and technical assistance abilities.
