Project Accountant
to join our Fairfax, VA office.
Essential responsibilities include:
Maintain all job costs and revenue for monthly accounting closes.
Prepare monthly A/R billings on AIA forms.
Process all monthly A/P invoices as approved by Project Manager.
Maintain all contract documents in Viewpoint Vista.
Collect and maintain all subcontractor COI’s, W-9’s and waivers.
Prepare bi-weekly check runs.
Report any financial risks and budget discrepancies to project manager and CFO.
Collect overdue receivables.
Qualifications, skills and abilities include:
A four year degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Project Management from an accredited college or university required.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
Experience with Viewpoint Vista preferred.
Good time management and prioritization skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Excellent follow-through skills.
