Salary The annual salary for this position ranges from $130,000 - $160,000 + 15% Bonus Target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary This role is responsible for providing full financial and administrative support to a specific business unit within Signode. The individual will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, as well as management analysis focusing on such areas as sales, gross margin, overhead spending, scrap, inventory and working capital. In addition, this role will be highly involved in coordinating the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process across the global platform. This role is critical in its ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of financial data in order to support accurate and timely strategic and tactical business decisions. It is important for this role to have an active presence at the business unit platform and will require a minimum of two working days at the plant. These plants are located in either Kankakee IL, Elkart/Gary IN and/or Danville VA.

Essential Functions

Ensure timely execution of the monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP and internal Signode policies and procedures.

Foster a strong partnership with Commercial, Operational and Functional leads by providing relevant financial analysis and insight to drive improvement across the Group. This role will be the financial leader of the business unit.

Drive the financial planning process for the Business Unit Platform:

Coordinate annual budget process as well as weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts

Participate in presenting financial plans to Signode Senior Leadership Team

Conduct business analysis, product lines and functions on an ad‑hoc basis including, but not limited to the following:

Sales and margin trend analysis by product, geographic region, customer and end‑market; identifying areas for growth as well as profit leakage

Overhead spend analysis by major expense type and function

Capital project analysis including cost tracking and inventory initiatives

Provide a continuous improvement mindset and partner with other controllers in improving productivity across Platforms and Signode

Foster an environment of teamwork; emphasize the importance of internal collaboration to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting preferred

Experience

10+ years of progressive financial experience

High proficiency in Excel

Ability to efficiently mine and summarize large amounts of data across multiple data sources

Experience following SOX (Sarbanes‑Oxley) Audit requirements preferred

Self‑motivation to understand the plant operations

Strong and confident communicator to large ranges of audiences - from plant operations to Americas President

Experience and working knowledge of the following software packages preferred: OneStream, AX, Great Plains
