Insight Global is seeking to hire a Mechanical Assembler for a new AI robotics startup company based out of San Francisco to help assemble hardware to develop robots and related components.
Day to Day Activities:
Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.)
Check your inventory to ensure you have the right materials on hand
Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity
Performs step-by-step instructions for quality assurance
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Report on your output for the day
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Mechanical assembly skills are required
Hand tool experience required (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.)
Attention to detail and focus on quality
Ability to effectively take direction and implement changes quickly
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
The compensation for this position is $35/hr and will require you to work on-site 5 days a week. This role is a 4-6-month contract with the possibility of having extensions depending on performance or other factors.
