Location: Albany, NY

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and create functional specifications that adhere to IT standards and policies.

Develop and implement ETL processes for the migration of NYS DMV legacy data.

Participate in requirement gathering and design discussions.

Communicate verbally with senior IT subject‑matter experts to elicit requirements.

Migrate data to appropriate repositories while complying with data standards and policies.

Collaborate in a team environment and work independently as needed.

Assist with quality assurance testing.

Qualifications

60–84 months of experience; able to work independently and provide guidance to others.

Advanced education preferred.

Preferred: 60 months experience designing, developing, and testing for migration of legacy data with 10+ data sources; 60 months SQL experience; testing experience (data validation, comprehensive test plans, execution, data reconciliation).

Experience documenting workflow processes in modeling tools (e.g., Visio).

Data modeling and ETL experience using IBM Infosphere DataStage or similar.
