Provider Network Analyst (Functional Program Analyst 3)
Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner is seeking a Provider Network Analyst to perform in-depth analyses of healthcare provider networks, evaluate consumer complaints, and identify compliance gaps. Work will support protection of Washington consumers and alignment with Washington State and federal laws.
Pay Range Base salary range: $5,137 - $6,906 per month. Actual pay will be based on experience and qualifications.

Duties
Compile, organize, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from multiple sources and produce findings through reports and presentations.
Review network access reports to develop trend analyses, disruption analyses, and summaries for decision making.
Investigate data for patterns and trends; review provider organizations and systems to support program analysis.
Provide analysis and interpretation of technical healthcare data.
Participate in binder team activities, offering detailed information regarding binder filing issues and providing written instructions to filers.
Conduct research and analysis for low‑impact network access proposals and consumer inquiries.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years professional experience in health & disability insurance, self‑funded plans, provider relations, claims payment configuration, credentialing, or utilization processes.
Degree in business administration, public health, public administration or related field from an accredited institution (or equally relevant experience). Credential evaluation may be required for foreign degrees.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet conflicting deadlines.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
Industry designation such as Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
Experience drafting and analyzing provider and facility contracting provisions.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Power BI for report creation and data extraction.
Healthcare analytics experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual state or federal reporting for statutory compliance.
