The Buying Planning Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading a team tasked with maintaining the raw material purchasing, and inventory management. The Buying Planning Supply Chain Manager will primarily be accountable for the service metrics at the plant and to protect the voice of the customer within the operational organization while making decisions. Leading a team to maintain positive customer relationships, both internal and external, while maximizing service levels and managing appropriate material levels are the core responsibilities of tasks assigned. The Buying Planning Supply Chain Manager should aid in the advancement of key initiatives within the organization through multi-departmental collaboration. Additional Information

Customer Service Orientation

Determine and implement site supply chain strategies to achieve service goals Make decisions with the voice of the customer in mind Maintain positive relationships with key internal and external customers to ensure supply chain targets are achieved Manage appropriate levels of raw material inventories in plants and DSC's by participating in the takt processes Drive continuous improvement by supporting current and future business needs Management of Schedules and Procurement

Manage a team to develop and maintain the production plan with clear and timely communication to operations. Lead the buying/planning function to ensure accurate to raw material inventories Collaborate with the centralized demand, supply, and raw material planning groups to meet organizational goals. Provide data-based analysis when deciding appropriate problem resolution Cost Conscious Decision Making

Manage raw material inventory to mitigate slow moving, non-moving inventory creation Make decisions with freight costs and incremental production or raw material sourcing costs in mind to help the division achieve financial goals Work with the transportation and sourcing groups to ensure optimization throughout the supply chain Team Learning and Development

Manage and participate in the training and on-boarding of new direct reports and team members Take a hands-on approach to the development and growth of employees within the supply chain area Complete yearly reviews of employees Employee Engagement

Be active in employee engagement initiatives Foster a positive work environment for the team Safety and Wellness

Support safety initiatives Adhere to all safety policies while working on-site Participate in required safety training and promote a safety culture with all employees Minimum Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.) Must have a bachelor or higher and/or have five (5) years of supply chain scheduling/buying experience Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Preferred Qualification

Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Must have at least four (4) years of work experience in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Have at least four (4) years work experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Have experience working in a multi-shift operation Have Oracle 11i, Analytics, and Oracle Discoverer
