The Office of Technology and Digital Services (OTDS) Department is seeking a Senior Product Owner to support the planning and implementation of new products and services. The role owns and prioritizes the product backlog, works cross‑functionally with business units, external partners, and control functions (audit, compliance, legal), and leads delivery of complex initiatives that span multiple product teams, departments, and vendors. Success requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior leadership. Responsibilities
Partner with Business and IT Product Managers to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the product team. Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals and adjusting to evolving requirements. Lead and coordinate delivery of complex initiatives that cross multiple product teams, departments, and vendors. Support the overall implementation of new products and services by leading OTDS’s activities, including planning and architecting related technology solutions. Lead and manage fund maintenance activities (Setup, Merger, Replacement, Changes, etc.) on the recordkeeping platform. Support fund trading operations. Lead analysis and optimization of nightly batch process performance. Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot and identify system‑related production problems, and coordinate the evaluation and implementation of system enhancements. Recommend proposed solutions and/or enhancements to improve and optimize processes, workflows, performance, and system functionality. Manage risk associated with new solutions and/or proposed enhancements. Ensure alignment with technology standards and industry best practices. Conduct cost‑benefit and risk assessment analyses for proposed solutions to determine suitability. Required Qualifications
Experience working with FIS Omni Recordkeeping platform. Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Information Systems preferred. 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a similar role within Financial Services. Strong business and technology acumen with sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and influence across diverse teams. Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time‑sensitive problems. Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines. Comfortable working with large, multi‑dimensional projects and experienced in cross‑functional product teams. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with fund maintenance activities (Setup, Merger, Replacement, Changes, etc.). Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fund trading operations. Certified Agile Professional and/or Product Owner certification preferred. Proficiency in Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Proficiency with Atlassian’s Jira project management and Confluence collaboration software. What We Offer
Competitive base salary. Annual bonus.
