Dentist (Part-Time) - Selinsgrove Center Are you a dentist with a passion for providing top‑notch dental care? Do you believe in the importance of positive and quality dental services for all? At the Department of Human Service (DHS), Selinsgrove Center, our dentists deliver basic dental care to residents with compassion and professionalism.

Description of Work As a Dentist, you will provide dental services to all individuals residing at Selinsgrove Center, under the supervision of the Clinical Services Director. Duties include:

Providing basic dental care, performing examinations, and delivering dental treatments.

Diagnosing oral diseases and performing minor oral surgery.

Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team and providing written annual dental summaries for each resident.

Forming effective working relationships with center staff and community providers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

Part‑time employment.

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, with a 30‑minute lunch.

Overtime as needed.

Telework: not available.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Special Requirements

Must possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.

Other Requirements

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
