Job Description We are seeking a

Senior Tax Manager

to join our client’s growing team. This role offers a clear partner track, working directly alongside the Managing Partner who is planning for retirement in the coming years. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build equity and eventually own part of the business.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee tax planning, consulting, compliance, and review services for a diverse client base including trusts, technology, manufacturing, and international businesses

Serve as the right hand to the Managing Partner with clear advancement into partnership

Manage client relationships, offering proactive advice and tailored solutions

Review and supervise the work of staff and managers across multiple projects

Conduct high-level technical review, tax projections, and research on complex matters

Work primarily remote with occasional travel for client meetings and firm retreats

Collaborate with team members across California to deliver high-quality results

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive tax experience, including significant leadership/managerial responsibilities

Active CPA license required

Strong technical expertise in tax law with ability to advise on complex, multi-industry issues

Experience with trusts, technology, manufacturing, or international tax strongly preferred

Excellent leadership, communication, and client advisory skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in firm ownership/partnership track
