Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer and Subject Matter Expert to serve as a key stakeholder in our Salesforce development initiatives. You will combine deep hands‑on technical expertise with strategic leadership, managing a team of four remote developers and admins while maintaining hands‑on involvement in complex implementations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Salesforce development experience. Litify platform experience is not required but preferred. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, customization, and integration of Salesforce solutions tailored to complex enterprise and legal industry environments, while leveraging your team strategically or diving into the work yourself as needed.
Location: Irvine, CA (in‑office 5 days a week, HQ based in Newport Beach, CA)
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the key stakeholder and SME in all Salesforce development initiatives.
Lead end‑to‑end Salesforce implementations with a focus on scalability and performance.
Architect secure and robust Salesforce solutions, including Litify‑specific customizations.
Translate key stakeholders’ needs into effective, workable, and robust solutions.
Work with third‑party developers to plan, project manage, design, and develop projects.
Uphold best practices in coding, security, release management, and documentation.
Manage and mentor a team of four remote developers and Salesforce admins.
Strategically delegate work while maintaining hands‑on involvement in complex technical challenges.
Foster professional growth and technical development within your team.
Support team members in execution of Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Build and optimize Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages.
Develop automation pipelines utilizing n8n and other API endpoints.
Experience with integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
Promote test‑driven development (TDD).
Customize Litify workflows, layouts, dashboards, and process automations.
Maintain alignment with legal industry standards in system architecture.
Investigate and resolve issues within the Litify environment independently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3‑5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification (Required).
Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, LWC.
Experience with Salesforce integrations.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and data architecture.
Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Application Architect Certification.
1+ year of Litify platform experience (not required, but preferred).
Litify Certification (strong plus, but not required).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Legal industry or LegalTech experience highly desirable.
