We are seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager (CNM) to lead and support clinical nutrition services at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut. The CNM will provide direct patient care while overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality nutrition services.

Sharon Hospital, Sharon, Connecticut Salary:
$80,000 – $85,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
Establish and oversee implementation of clinical nutrition care based on the facility’s medical direction and patient population.
Assess patients’ nutritional status and document findings in the medical record.
Hire, lead, direct, coach, train, and develop nutrition team members.
Mentor staff and interns in patient/resident services.
Foster teamwork and implement innovative programs to improve clinical nutrition and financial outcomes.
Monitor staff competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy.
Assign and direct the workload of the clinical nutrition staff; participate in staffing analysis for adequate coverage.
Comply with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations and uphold HIPAA and patient rights policies.
Lead patient/resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Licensed by the state dietetics board (as required).
Minimum of 2 years acute‑care experience and 3 years in senior living as a Registered Dietitian.
Specialty certification when applicable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
