Senior Plumbing Engineer at Jacobs
Base pay range $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr

We’re looking for a high‑energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Key responsibilities
Development of the design criteria for plumbing systems.
Layout and design of plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
Development of final design documents and specifications for these systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Required qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in design of plumbing systems.
Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Preferred qualifications
Software experience in Revit.
Experience in utility piping system design.
