Overview HealthDrive is the leading provider of Optometry services to residents of communities across the nation.
Our Optometrists provide patient‑centered care with white glove concierge support.
As an Optometrist with HealthDrive, you hand a mobile practice to yourself, delivering exams, testing, and a variety of optometry services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long‑term care facilities.
$10k Sign‑On Bonus
for a full‑time provider (prorated based on days worked).

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive exams, diagnose, treat, and manage age‑related ocular diseases, injuries, and disorders of the eye.
Perform vision testing and prescribe spectacle lenses.
Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our optometry electronic medical record system.
Apply proper coding guidelines and populate appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
Adhere to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.
Qualifications
Optometry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of eye conditions and disorders.
Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with EMR, text, email, internet, and other healthcare‑related software.
Self‑starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, and lift.
Ability to transport optometry equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
May be occasionally required to transport patients in wheelchairs.
Education & Qualifications
O.D.
Current State professional license.
Valid driver’s license.
Travel Mobile position with daily travel based on patient care requirements.
A valid driver’s license and ability to drive significant distances on occasion are required.
