Overview
This is a full‑time position located at the Scripps Memorial campus in La Jolla. You must be available to work a night shift of 10:00 pm–6:30 am and a varied schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities The housekeeping team performs job functions to support environmental care, including:
Patient care area cleaning
Non‑patient care area cleaning
Linen service
Waste removal
Sharps container removal
Meeting/event set‑up and breakdown
Infection control and sanitation, utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor
Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months of housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality
Extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service
