KPFF Consulting Engineers
KPFF is hiring an experienced Revit Modeler with a strong background in structural modeling to join our specialized team. This role involves transforming complex engineering concepts into precise parametric models and drawings for a portfolio of challenging high-impact projects. As a Revit Modeler at KPFF youll work on state-of-the-art structures such as high-rise office buildings historic renovations airports bridges K-12 schools higher education facilities retail spaces parking garages hotels and residential buildings.

Responsibilities
Develop and refine structural models and drawings based on engineer concepts and sketches using Revit.
Produce accurate parametric models that adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project teams to ensure design intent and accuracy.
Participate in a variety of projects including high-rise buildings educational facilities transportation infrastructure and more.
Utilize Revit / BIM technology effectively maintaining KPFFs standards in modeling practices.
Engage in regular mentorship and training contributing to team development and best practices in modeling.
Support project documentation efforts to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Salary The pay range is $90000 - $115000 salary depending on education
Qualifications
At least ten years of experience working with Revit with a focus on structural modeling.
Strong understanding of Revit Structure and BIM processes.
Proficient in creating detailed structural models from initial concepts design sketches and engineer inputs.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in modeling.
Familiarity with AEC industry standards structural modeling best practices and relevant codes and regulations.
Skilled in troubleshooting Revit issues optimizing model performance and adapting designs to meet project requirements.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer reviewing plans or conducting site visits.
Capacity to move around project sites climb ladders and navigate uneven terrain.
Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
Duties require the ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day.
May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
Duties require in-person attendance Monday through Friday during our business hours of 8 AM to5 PM at our office in Downtown Los Angeles for the training period.
Following a satisfactory training period a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in the office may be accommodated.
