Multi Site Security Officer - Any Day/Any Shift!
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Base Pay $22.00/hr
Position Overview We are looking for a Multi Site Security Officer who will be available any day, any shift and will be stationed at various site locations across Vernon Hills. The role involves securing entrances, conducting patrols, resolving conflicts, and maintaining safety of guests, employees, and property.
What Your Day May Look Like
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Secure entrances and exits.
Conduct patrols inside and outside in various weather conditions.
Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions or suspicious activity.
Protect evidence or scene during accidents, emergencies, or investigations.
Set up barriers, signage, and provide direction or information to others.
Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for the assigned site.
Position Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
High school diploma or GED required, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
Standard computer/technology skills.
Customer service background preferred.
Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
Professional interaction with diverse individuals.
Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
Willingness to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
