Analyst, Third-Party Risk & Vendor Management TransPecos Banks, SSB – Remote or Onsite Opportunities

Summary The Analyst supports the assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks associated with our third-party relationships. They assist senior staff in overseeing the end-to-end third‑party lifecycle, contract management, performance monitoring, and related vendor management functions.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage the inventory of third‑party vendors, engagements, and contracts.

Conduct third‑party risk assessments of new and existing third‑parties, evaluating and identifying risk factors.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure due diligence questionnaires are reviewed on time.

Identify, monitor, and track third‑party risk indicators, including incidents and remediation needs.

Manage third‑party lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, SLAs, and performance metrics.

Establish and maintain effective relationships with third parties and internal stakeholders.

Review and analyze contracts to identify risks, liabilities, and obligations.

Ensure third parties comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Provide regular management reporting and status updates on third‑party programs.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks.

Support training of internal stakeholders on risk management best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.

Carry out responsibilities consistently with company values and operating principles.

Organizational Structure

Reports to: Lead Analyst, Third Party Risk & Vendor Management

Qualifications / Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

Required Knowledge / Skills

2 years of experience in Third‑Party Risk Management.

1 year of experience in Vendor Management with contract understanding.

Experience with third‑party risk management tools (preferably Archer).

Understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Understanding of contract lifecycle management.

Desired Experience

Experience in financial services.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CRVPM, CTPRP, CTPRA).

Experience in developing and implementing performance metrics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
