General Summary: We seek a passionate engineer with in-depth knowledge on image processing, computational imaging, or computer vision algorithm design, especially ISP related, to join the Camera Systems team. The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced technology in mobile devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state‑of‑the‑art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection.
Responsibilities:
Research and development for mobile camera features and image/video quality improvement
Prototype solutions on platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes
Deployment of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.
Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.

Experiences in the following areas:
Expertise in signal, image, video and color/tone processing
Proficiency with C, C++, Python, Matlab
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD Degree preferred with one or more skills below
Experience with camera technology and ISP (Image Signal Processor)
Experience with computer vision, machine learning and deep neural networks related to image/video/motion/depth/semantics processing
Experience with sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing
Experience with mobile imaging related development and technology
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Pay range: $122,500.00 - $183,700.00
