Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to join our Finance team at Accredited Labs. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely application of incoming payments, reconciling financial accounts using bank match in NetSuite, and partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate maintains clean financial records, supports cash flow processes, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is based at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas and is considered hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office. This role helps ensure the integrity of cash application processes and accurate financial data, reducing unapplied and misapplied payments to support healthy cash flow. It also strengthens internal controls through precise account reconciliations and fosters collaboration across Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Service to resolve payment issues effectively. Day to Day Responsibilities

Accurately apply customer payments from multiple sources (ACH, wire transfers, checks, credit cards) in NetSuite Identify and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments promptly Reconcile the unapplied payments account and investigate outstanding items Perform regular reconciliations of the 1099 Undeposited Funds account to ensure accuracy and compliance Partner with the Accounts Receivable team to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies Communicate with internal departments and customers to clarify and resolve payment-related issues Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data Prepare and maintain cash application reports to monitor performance and accuracy Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline cash application workflows and reduce errors Basic Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in cash applications and account reconciliation in a professional work environment Experience and proven track record of managing financial transactions Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) Experience in a multi-entity environment Experience in NetSuite Experience with Versapay About Us
