Background:
Our client is a large medical device manufacturer. They are in need of a Calibration Technician with metrology testing expertise to support various sustaining initiatives.
Responsibilities Responsibilities:
This candidate will need to perform routine and non-routine independent calibrations of all laboratories, manufacturing and radiation monitoring equipment following SOP's and in accordance with cGMP's. They must maintain all types of Metrology test and support equipment. Must also show the ability to apply specialized knowledge in performing calibration tasks that are not fully described in standardized procedures. This person will generate reports and create accurate calibration specific data using calibration software, compile data for documenting calibration and prepare reports as necessary. This individual will also review, write new and revise existing SOPs for continual improvement of the calibration program.
Required Skills
3-5+ years of Medical Device experience
Experience with laboratory calibrations
Knowledge of cGMP requirements
Experience utilizing complex calibration software
Experience writing new and revising old SOPs for continuous improvement
