The Garage Valet Attendant provides a customer‑friendly parking experience by parking, retrieving, and securing vehicles while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
Park customers' vehicles in designated spots, ensuring they are parked safely and securely.
Track keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
Provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain organization at the operation.
Be enthusiastic, creating a positive environment for customers and teammates.
Use professional communication and VPNE‑approved language.
Facilitate transition at the end of the shift.
Provide information about the garage, including hours, rates, or promotions upon request.
Always maintain a neatly groomed appearance.
Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
Adhere to VPNE attendance policy.
Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate gear and reporting hazards promptly.
Fill out damage or accident support forms.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to smile during customer interactions.
Possess an upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on job premises.
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Ability to move quickly and stand for long periods.
Ability to organize cars efficiently.
Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Possess a valid Driver's License.
Pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Ability to create relationships with customers.
Be organized.
Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.
Years of Experience: Entry Level.
Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written.
