We are hiring immediately for an On‑Call Food Service Worker at the MN Vikings Foundation (700 24th Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN 55414). Applications are accepted online only.
Job Summary Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food‑safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash‑control procedures.
Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Two years of culinary experience preferred.
Fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour.
