Open to candidates within the United States.

Hybrid Requirement (if within specific cities):

If the selected candidate resides in Cleveland, OH, Buffalo, NY, or Albany, NY, they are expected to work on-site 2 days per week at the nearest KeyBank office (non-branch location).

Remote Option:

If the selected candidate lives outside of KeyBank’s geographic footprint, the position will be considered fully remote.

Available for East Coast meetings, required

Commercial AI Commercialization & Enablement Lead , in Learning Enablement within Commercialization servicing Commercial Bank. The Instructional Designer will ensure our AI strategies are embraced across the enterprise and deliver measurable impact. This role will lead the charge in driving organizational readiness, building AI literacy, and enabling business teams to integrate AI into their workflows — ultimately bridging the gap between capability investment and business value.

Essential Job Functions

As part of the AI squad will partner with the Commercial Bank AI team to define and execute commercialization strategies for AI solutions.

Translate AI capabilities into business value propositions and use cases that drive adoption and ROI.

Support go-to-market planning, internal positioning, and stakeholder readiness for AI initiatives.

Develop and execute readiness strategies to support AI adoption.

Leverage adoption learning tools (ex: WalkMe) to support in application contextual learning.

Identify and address organizational, cultural, and skill-based barriers to AI.

Establish success metrics and feedback loops to monitor adoption and continuously improve enablement efforts.

Design and deliver scalable enablement programs to build AI literacy and utilization in teammates tasks.

Champion responsible AI practices and foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.

Act as a strategic liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure clarity, alignment, and readiness.

Communicate complex AI concepts in accessible language tailored to different stakeholder groups.

Promote success stories and share learnings to build momentum and confidence in AI initiatives.

Continuously activate the organization in AI usage and enablement.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in instructional design, enablement, product commercialization, digital transformation, or organizational change roles.

Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their business applications.

Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and planning skills.

Preferred Skills

3 + years experience in instructional design, adult learning, or organizational development.

Experience in a product-centric or agile environment.

Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI principles.

Background in instructional design, adult learning, or organizational development.

Data-driven mindset with ability to measure and report on adoption and impact.

Physical Demands

General office environment: Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face-to-face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Travel/Driving Requirements

May need to travel to corporate office

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
