What You'll Be Doing Conducting Safety Inspections and Audits Maintaining Parsons Safety Policies through the administration of the Project Safety Environmental and Health Plan (PSHEP) Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification Conducting Work Site Training and Education Investigating Incidents and Accidents Ensuring Regulatory Compliance (OSHA, EM 385 1-1) Collaborate with Client, Base Personnel, and Contractors to promote an effective and proactive Safety Culture.

What Required Skills You'll Bring Relevant experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction industry safety or general industry safety, with experience supervising or managing safety programs, conducting hazard analyses, and developing controls. OSHA 30-hour training: Completion of the OSHA 30-hour Construction or General Industry safety class, or equivalent formal training. 40 Hour EM 385-1-1 training Continuing education: 8 hours of documented safety training annually. Knowledge of safety regulations: Strong understanding of OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations. Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and lead safety training sessions. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop effective solutions.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring Professional Certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, STS) Competent Person Designation in LOTO, Scaffolding, Fall Protection, Excavation

Physical Requirements Physically wemust be able to climb ladders and into man-lifts. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Able to work dayshift and/or Saturdays based on project requirements

Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather condition.

Ability to Relocate to Radford, Va. or the surrounding area.

Must wear appropriate PPE when performing tasks. The list of PPE shall include hard hats, safety glasses, safety toed boots, gloves, high vis vests, and other relevant protective equipment. Ability to speak and read English.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $29.95 - $52.40.
