About the Role The Nuclear Company is hiring a Document Controller who will be responsible for managing and organizing all engineering and construction‑related documentation for a large‑scale infrastructure project. The Document Controller will work closely with the project team to ensure that document management processes and systems are followed by project members. The Document Controller will help to implement policies and procedures with direction from the Manager of Document Management and Project Management Office. The Document Controller will maintain the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and ensure that project documents are up‑to‑date, properly labeled, and accurately tracked. This role reports to the Manager, Document Management.
Responsibilities
Maintain the EDMS to meet the needs of the project, assist project staff in using the system, provide training to new employees
Serve as lead of the on‑site document control team
Monitor document review workflows to ensure timely completion
Maintain protocols for tracking document revisions
Ensure that project staff use document templates to maintain consistency and accuracy
Respond to requests for up‑to‑date documentation including drawings, specifications, procedures, and policies
Synthesize archived and current project documentation, archive project drawings, specifications, policies, and procedures per the archiving schedule
Conduct regular audits of document management systems to ensure policies and procedures have been followed
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure that project staff keep documents, document systems, and data secure
Experience
5+ years of document control experience in large engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
Deep understanding of document control best practices
Familiarity with document control software and systems
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, etc.)
Knowledge of engineering and construction terminology and processes
Experience serving as a team leader

Estimated Starting Salary Range The estimated starting salary range for this role is $121,000 – $143,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi‑weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
