A web developer for Design At Work should have extensive WordPress experience and be able to collaborate with a full creative team — including account directors, copywriters and designers — to develop and maintain websites and related services for multiple client accounts. In this role, you will work with front-end and back-end development in WordPress environments. Responsibilities:
Research and resolve code and content, link architecture and navigation issues Work on projects that include web user experience and speed enhancements Able to manage scope and organization of web-based projects to ensure client expectations are met Manage websites through content updates and new page programming Maintain client website security and speed optimizations Launch new websites or migrate current sites ensuring limited downtime and a smooth transition Function as a primary liaison between clients and account directors for web-related needs Experience, Education & Preferred Skills:
3+ years of related web development experience Knowledge in mobile responsive programming and frameworks (Bootstrap and Foundation) Experience with Photoshop and Figma Experience with domain and hosting services (GoDaddy, WPEngine, etc.) Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar and Ahrefs Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Able to clearly communicate web and technical information Able to analyze, recommend and apply website improvements for user experience, functionality and speed Experience integrating services through RESTful APIs Experience with React and Gutenberg is a plus Experience in SEO READY TO JOIN THE TEAM?
