Job Description
Pacific Coast Hospitality is searching for a creative and talented Restaurant Executive Chef to lead up this recently opened restaurant brewery in beautiful Oceanside CA. An authentic neighborhood spot serving up creative and inspired beer and food located along the beautiful South Coast Highway just north of San Diego. This is an outstanding opportunity for the ideal candidate to construct a great kitchen program, including creating menu items always cooked from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, build documented policies & procedures, and be intimately involved in helping grow an already well established business.
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have the following: 2-5 years’ experience working as AKM /KM / Sous / Chef in the upscale, casual dining segment Strong communicator with proven ability to document policies and procedures Fair to strong computer competency Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of kitchen operations from recipe development to product ordering, storage and rotation, kitchen equipment maintenance, etc. Casual, yet corporate experience/background preferred BUSY environment, candidate must have the energy and mental toughness to succeed High volume “foodie” experience a plus Passion for developing and mentoring a team Track record of achieving financial results Salary Range & Benefits Salary – $65k – $80k (starting, based on experience level ) Performance Bonus Program specifically designed for you Company provided Health Insurance Annual Performance and Salary Review Balanced Work / Personal Lifestyle including PTO program
