Job Description We provide technical education and support to physicians, hospital personnel and staff on BD Peripheral Intervention products, including case support, in‑servicing, and physician education training programs. The role establishes relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians, and reports market trends. The specialist will also manage compliance, patient safety and maintain company property and travel obligations.
Responsibilities
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and staff on BD Peripheral Intervention products through case support, in‑servicing, and physician education programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians, obtaining new users and applications.
Observe and report market trends affecting BD Peripheral Intervention sales, service and product development.
Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Process customer complaints and returns per established procedures.
Maintain company automobile and property, and complete BD Peripheral Intervention reports such as Clinical Specialists reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports and complaint reports.
Support endovascular procedures and perform duties of a Territory Manager in vacant territories as directed by the District Manager.
Additional Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
Product knowledge of all BD Peripheral Intervention Vascular products.
Knowledge of surgical and endovascular procedures sufficient to support clinical cases.
Basic anatomy and medical/surgical terminology.
Education / Experience / Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab.
Current credentialing and/or certification in relevant clinical discipline.
Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery and endovascular medicine preferred.
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Self‑motivated, takes on additional responsibilities and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
Frequent travel required.
Remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements. The role requires a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week unless stated otherwise.
