Collection Recovery Senior Specialist
will field a variety of customer calls, deliver high‑quality solutions, and help customers through financial hardship by offering assistance and options. You will work independently, support junior staff, drive improvements in collection and recovery metrics, and may lead special projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Acts as an SME in collections/recovery.
Drives improvements in strategic and tactical collection and recovery metrics.
Completes all file/system maintenance required by policy.
Adheres to laws, regulations, and bank policy regarding specialty collections.
Assists junior staff with escalated concerns or performs peer reviews.
May perform special projects or initiatives as directed.
Qualifications
2+ years of customer service or collections experience.
Excellent verbal, written, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage daily workload.
Team‑oriented, fast‑paced work style.
Computer proficiency.
Self‑motivated attitude with a desire to succeed.
Hours & Work Schedule
40 hours per week.
Monday‑Friday, Johnston, RI office.
