to provide multi‑disciplined support to a classified facility and organization. The primary function is working with Special Access Program (SAPs) and other classified/unclassified systems. The position will provide “day‑to‑day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Candidates supporting this task may be required to perform a combination of the duties below as well as other duties traditionally within the system administration spectrum such as network administration, desktop support, and inventory control as well as generally supporting other functions within the government organization. These duties are not necessarily all‑inclusive. All individuals supporting this task shall possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance and Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) current within the last six (6) years and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Depending on the position, additional security screening may also be required (e.g., polygraph examination, etc.). Loss or suspension of clearance may be grounds for immediate removal from the contract, pending the decision of the CO as advised by security oversight authorities. The candidate must be able to work daily in an industrial environment as well for temporary periods in austere duty locations which include physical activity such as bending, lifting heavy items out in the elements for extended duty periods often beyond the normal duty day. This position is based on multiple DoD Directives; including DoD 5205.07 volumes 1-4; DoDD 5205.02E; DoDI 5025.01, 5205.11, 5200.39, 5220.22, DoDM 3305.13; DoD 8140 series; Intelligence Community Directive Series 500/600/700; NIST 800 series special publications; Executive Orders 13556 and 13636, the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide Rev 4, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required. Travel to customer sites and other program locations may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

Install, maintain, audit and support multiple secure network environments and limited web/data application service

Maintain internet applications and protocols (i.e. IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and SSL)

Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as required

Interface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problems

Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance

Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes

Perform scheduled backups on systems as required

Manage data backup library as required

Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, Program Managers and customers as required

Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests

Provide technical guidance and input on future system architectures

Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members; Provide customer site ticketing, account management, and helpdesk support

Provide small computer repair and maintenance

Provide government issued iPhone support and configuration to include account and individual service management

Provide service, installation and maintenance of printers and scanners on individual networks including standalone devices

Experience And Skills

US Citizenship

Current Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Must be able to obtain access to Special Access Programs

Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2 years’ experience, or 5 years of experience without degree

Must meet Foundational qualification requirements outlined in DoD Manual 8140.03 for Systems Administrator (work role ID 451) and Technical Support Specialist (work role ID 411) at the intermedial level within 6 months of the date of hire

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Preferred Skills And Experience

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 2016+ Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2016+, Microsoft Windows 10/11+ operating systems (OS) administration, vSphere/Horizon View Technologies, Basic Linux Administration Ubuntu/REL and associated hardware

Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration

Basic conceptual knowledge of cloud technologies

Experience with Cisco Video Teleconferencing, installation, maintenance and operation

Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&A for Legacy systems

Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions is a plus

Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite 2016 and Office 365

Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision

Requires travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Salary Range Competitive salary based on experience and education.

Salary Range: $110,000-$155,000
