Adjunct Professor of Business Law Position : Adjunct Professor of Business Law, Houston Christian University – Archie W. Dunham College of Business

Department : Department of Management, Marketing, and Business

Location : Residential teaching at the Houston campus (daytime and evening). Hybrid and online teaching is also available.

Position Summary Houston Christian University seeks qualified adjunct faculty in Business Law to support its undergraduate and graduate programs. The role focuses on teaching excellence, engagement with Christ-centered learning, and academic integrity.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality instruction in a variety of formats (in‑person, online, hybrid) for undergraduate or graduate students.

Integrate Christian faith and values consistently into teaching and assessment.

Participate in department meetings, curriculum development, and student advising as required.

Qualifications

Earned PhD or DBA from an AACSB‑ or ACBSP‑accredited university in Business Law or a related discipline.

Master’s candidates may be considered if they have at least 18 graduate semester hours and strong professional and academic credentials.

Professional experience in the discipline is advantageous.

Exceptional professional and academic qualifications are required for those without prior university‑level teaching experience.
