Director of Arts Partnerships
StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether a fan is attending their first event or their hundredth, we aim to delight them from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. We want to be the safest, most convenient way for promoters and cultural institutions to offer tickets to millions of fans worldwide.
Location:
Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA
What You'll Do
Define and lead the overall strategy for StubHub’s arts vertical—including theaters, performing arts centers, symphonies, ballets, operas, and cultural venues.
Build and manage a high‑performing team of Directors and Account Managers as the category scales.
Drive new business development—identifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing high‑value partnerships with arts organizations across North America.
Serve as the category’s executive sponsor in key negotiations and long‑term partner relationships.
Collaborate with product, legal, operations, and marketing teams to build solutions tailored to the needs of arts partners.
Advocate internally for the evolving needs of the arts category—shaping product development and commercial strategy.
Represent StubHub at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to build visibility and trust.
Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, market trends, and partner feedback.
What You've Done
10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic sales, ideally with exposure to live entertainment, ticketing, or cultural institutions.
Experience leading and scaling teams, preferably in a high‑growth or startup environment.
Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex partnerships with executive‑level stakeholders.
Deep familiarity with the live arts ecosystem—including operations, audience development, and digital distribution.
Strong strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to represent StubHub in high‑profile settings.
Passion for the arts and a belief in the role technology can play in expanding access to culture and live experiences.
