Overview
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sr. Key Account Sales Manager to work in our La Vergne, TN office. You will sell print and wholesale distribution services to existing and prospective book publishing accounts and clients, developing selling and service relationships throughout all levels of the Publisher's organization. You will develop and forecast sales targets and manage expenses within your account base. You will engage in conference speaking, web-based presentations, and other networking activities. Your role includes creating meaningful deals with large accounts and providing thought leadership to help soft-sell to large, strategic publishers. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet sales and growth targets. Ingram Content Group connects people with content in all forms, providing comprehensive services for publishers, retailers, libraries, and educators. Ingram’s services include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning, supported by a global network of offices and facilities. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or year-for-year experience 5 years' experience in book publishing or printing Preferred Skills
Experience working for a Christian Publisher Experience working for an academic publisher Proven success in book sales or strong aptitude to learn Strategic thinking skills Key Responsibilities
Develops and grows the pipeline of potential ICG accounts: identifying new opportunities while growing sales to existing accounts. Leads strategic discussions with publishers regarding print on demand, global fulfillment, distribution and sales needs for all Ingram products. Develops and delivers solution-based proposals that address publishers' needs through Ingram's current print offerings or new offerings using Ingram's core competencies. Provides thorough reporting on account status, including current results vs. projections, opportunities with current and prospective clients, market challenges, and recommended resolutions, during monthly business development meetings. Works with sales teams to prioritize opportunities within existing accounts to maximize quick wins and long-term growth potential. Represents Ingram Content Group and its expertise in the marketplace via conferences, presentations, speaking engagements and association involvement. Conducts periodic business reviews with each publisher highlighting their entire relationship with Ingram Content Group. Meets or exceeds budget goals. Hiring Salary Range: 83,230k - 105,532k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary and will be determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, and internal equity and market data.
