This position will be located in Richmond, VA.
Job Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies for Hospital To Home, LLC. The BDM is responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, presenting products and services, negotiating deals, and closing sales to increase the company’s revenue by converting leads into customers.
Duties / Responsibilities
Lead the medical transport sales team in developing a marketing strategy to support rapid growth initiatives that are rooted in the philosophy of exceptional patient care and high‑quality customer service.
Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with clients, and act as a point of contact between clients and the internal team.
Collect and analyze marketing data to identify existing and potential partnerships, evaluate productivity, and measure ROI.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to department specific policies, procedures and development.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes and develop strategies accordingly.
Identify new potential clients for the company.
Sell products and services to meet client needs and close deals.
Develop sales strategies and present offerings to clients and potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, highlighting the benefits of the company’s products and services.
Prepare for and attend client meetings, including discovery calls, trade shows and presentations.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns.
Communicate with clients and internal teams and report on account status regularly.
Ensure quality control of all work submitted.
Perform other duties as required.
Key Skills Required
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role.
Experience in Home Health Care, Hospice, Rehabilitation and/or Hospital Administration.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Customer relationship management expertise.
Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
BS or BA in business administration, sales or marketing preferred.
Job Conditions
All employees, unless able to furnish an accommodation letter, are required to complete orientation.
Position may be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
The position is primarily a customer‑facing position that requires an inordinate amount of interpersonal conversation.
Extensive local travel is required. Occasional long‑distance travel may be required.
Salary contingent on experience
