Responsibilities Hospital-based role with work in fixed units and mobile radiography within inpatient, OR, and ER settings Evening shift from 3pm to 11pm with an every other weekend rotation May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed Performs diagnostic radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist Unit utilizes PACS for imaging and RIS for study indexing Responsible for performing radiology procedures using appropriate techniques and equipment Administers IV contrast media and monitors for patient reactions as applicable Prepares procedure rooms, maintains stock, and upholds infection control practices Ensures accurate completion of documentation, image quality assurance, and PACS/RIS management May provide instruction and support to new hires and students while fulfilling own duties Must demonstrate professional communication, teamwork, flexibility, and customer service values Online module training must be completed onsite one week prior to the official start date Scrubs or dress code information not specified Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent radiologic technologist experience required Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable Current ARRT registration or registry eligibility required, with registration obtained within 6 months if not already held Current AHA BCLS certification required High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of required online modules with passing score prior to start Must be able to lift and/or move patients and equipment exceeding 10 lbs as needed COVID vaccination is mandatory Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623703.
