Endoscopy Assistant

Job Details
Responsibilities Receives, escorts out and in patients to and from the ENDO unit. Ability to move patients by stretcher or wheelchair Performs selected CCP direct patient care duties including: vital signs, weights, feeding meals, ambulation assistance, toileting, transport of stretchers, wheelchairs at the direction of the RN Performs receptionist, clerical, patient scheduling related to flow-through of the endoscopy unit; Adds additional patients to PICIs and reconciles daily statistical data in PICS Maintains per levels for items from Central Supply and General Stores Forwards forms and records for GI/anesthesia MD Answers phones promptly Able to perform courier services and maintain confidentiality. Computer competent and able to enter data into discrete fields for extended period of time; physically able to lift and stock deliveries of medical/office supplies Requirements
HS Diploma/GED Required Previous hospital experience
