POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Application Developer designs, develops, and maintains custom business applications that support Paragon Films' operations across manufacturing, logistics, finance, and other departments. This position serves as the technical lead for the Applications Development function-responsible for building, modernizing, and integrating software solutions across the Microsoft stack. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with .NET (WinForms, WebForms, and Blazor), Azure cloud services, and Dynamics 365 (F&SC and Business Central). The role requires close collaboration with both technical peers and business users to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable applications that align with Paragon's strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software applications using C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET, and Blazor. Refactor and modernize legacy WinForms and WebForms applications to modern web and cloud platforms. Extend and integrate Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (F&SC) and Business Central (BC) to meet business process needs. Develop APIs, shared libraries, and integration services between ERP, CRM, and other internal systems. Build and manage solutions using Azure services, including App Services, Functions, and Identity. Use Azure DevOps for source control, build/release pipelines, and agile project management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-manufacturing, quality, accounting, logistics, customer service, and sales-to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize application performance, usability, and reliability across platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve software and integration issues. Document technical specifications, system architectures, and solution designs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers. Ensure all software complies with IT security, reliability, and compliance standards. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY

7+ years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies. Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 8, WinForms, WebForms (ASP.NET), and Blazor (Server and WebAssembly Proficiency with SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization. Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps (Git, pipelines, boards). Working knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and clean architecture. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork across technical and business areas. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments. Experience migrating WinForms / WebForms applications to Blazor or .NET 8+. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for data integration and analytics. Exposure to microservices, REST APIs, and authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth, ASP.NET Identity). Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, bUnit).

EDUCATION: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and infrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Ability to work in an environment that generates static electricity which may interfere with certain medical devices.
