About the Role
NOV Artificial Lift is seeking a
Mechanical Assembly Technician
to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The position includes assembling and testing ESP equipment and components, with a focus on
building gas separators . Candidates do not need prior experience but should have strong mechanical aptitude; up to two years of assembly and testing experience will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities Assemble ESP equipment and subassemblies, including g as separators , following engineering drawings and specifications. Perform testing and inspection of assembled equipment to verify quality and performance. Operate
overhead cranes
and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain compliance with and actively support the facility's
6S Program
(Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety). Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and
problem-solving skills . Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings. Experience in mechanical assembly and testing of ESP equipment (preferred: up to two years). Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to
50 pounds
regularly. Ability to work on your feet/stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach as required for assembly tasks. Work performed in a
manufacturing environment
around moving equipment, tools, and machinery. Adherence to all required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
