Description We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in Melville, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations by performing a variety of administrative tasks and providing exceptional support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administrative tasks to support the team and ensure efficient office operations.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members or departments.
- Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update records and databases.
- Coordinate receptionist duties, including welcoming visitors and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
- Assist with office supply inventory, ordering, and restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies.
- Provide support for special projects and other duties as assigned high volume of work in Excel
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and working with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Familiarity with receptionist duties and customer service.
