Material Handler

Location: Hopkinton, MA - Onsite

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Duration: 3 Months+

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Job Description

This position involves various functions such as checking incoming freight, picking and packing outgoing materials, and processing external paperwork for shipments through domestic and international carriers and forwarders.

• Check inbound materials from vendors and internal shipping points that forward stock in Boston for shipments.
• Pull and pack finished goods from shelves and prepare them for shipment.
• Process paperwork for outgoing shipments, both domestic and international.
• Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count processes.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to label and store incoming materials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand for more than 4 hours continuously.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and move lead crates.
• Frequent bending and lifting throughout the day.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
